Designations

There are currently four designations that have a Residential focus. They are:

AREP – Accredited Real Estate Professional
CMREP – Career Management Real Estate Professional
EREP – e-Business Real Estate Professional
RREP – Referral Real Estate Professional

AREP – Accredited Real Estate Professional

The purpose of this course is to teach a new agent how to get started in his/her new real estate career. The course provides a day-by-day approach for the first 30 days in their new career that will get the real estate agent into the routine of basic marketing and sales techniques. At the conclusion agents should know how to farm, prospect and market themselves; have a checklist of daily reminders of what needs to be accomplished; understand the legalities of non-discrimination and the “do not call” list; have a business/financial plan for guiding them through the year; and have a plan of attack for his real estate career, either for their new career or to get back on track with their current career.

CMREP – Career Management Real Estate Professional

The purpose of this course is to take agents to the next level of their career by getting them on some form of career path whereby they can build some kind of longevity in their career. This course should empower agents to maximize their status as an independent contractor; show them how to handle and integrate all their technology equipment; show them how to create and mange a budget; help agents to create a marketing image and in the end show agents how to determining why and how to get why a customer to hire them or their company.

EREP – e-Business Real Estate Professional

The purpose of this course is to provide real estate professionals with an overview of the different components of technology and how to use them more effectively in the real estate industry. Topics covered usually include: hardware; mobile technology; software; networking; e-Commerce; applications within the real estate industry; how this knowledge can be applied to meet the special demands of changing online home buyer and seller; and the importance of using high-tech communication tools and strategies in the future.

RREP – Referral Real Estate Professional

This designation is awarded to licensed, but non active agents that wish to remain active in the real estate industry through referrals. Currently this course is exclusively licensed to Referral Center, LLC., the nation’s largest LIFRO organization and may only be taken by their members.
